01.Why do some people like buying designer clothes?
One of my friends who like buying some very expensive clothes on told me her opinion about designer clothes and ordinary ones.To start with,designers working for famous brands are more experienced an professional.Therefore,what they believe is that clothes designed by them are leading the fashion.Moreover,raw materials used for producing clothes with famous brands are usually high-end and good quality.More interestingly,what they stressed many times is what I couldn't agree with.They said famous brands have their own cultural connotation and buying clothes with some brands means that buyers approve of their cultures.For me,the so-called cultures of some brands are absolutely made up and it's just a kind of commercial operation.Anyway,that's my personal idea about it.
02.Why are luxury goods very popular among some people?
Some may say people like purchasing luxury goods just out of vanity and I personally agree with them partially.In fact,almost everyone wants to enjoy a high-end lifestyle,but it's a little bit pitiful that for most people a high-end lifestyle to a great extent means a rich material life.To pursue this kind of life,people spare no effort in buying expensive things which in their opinions can help them enioy their lives better.That's how luxury goods win their popularity.Undoubtedly,what those people ignore is their mental enjoyment.Concerning people with an obsession of material life,owning some luxury handbags is more significant for them than readina some books.

03.Do you think one’s appearance is important?Why?/Why not?
Undoubtedly yes,it's quite important.Of course,some people may argue that the inner beauty is more essential than physical appearance.However,the ironic truth is that without a good appearance,some people are ignored,and they dont have a chance to show their beautiful soul.Most people do judge others mainly according to others appearance no matter whether these people admit it or not.It's the appearance that leaves others the first impression.In my country,in primary schools,students will be taught that they should pay attention to their appearance and of course not excessively.They should wear clean and tidy clothes and girls need to pay attention to their hairstyles as well.
04.What kinds of jobs require a good appearance?Why?
From my point of view,jobs in the service industry require a good appearance.As I believe,a good appearance can give the clients a good impression.More interestingly,people with a good appearance are always thought to be kind,nice,patient and hospitable.Nearly everyone knows that according to what people learn from books,judging people by their appearances is wrong but almost everyone does so.That's why in my country,people can always find many beautiful girls working as bank tellers,salespersons in shopping malls,insurance brokers and flight attendants.By the way,I have to say that an absurd thing in my country is that in many recruitment advertisements,being good looking is an important requirement.
