1.关于教学方法:传统的教学使用纸、笔和老师的口头叙述(oral narration)作为传播知识的方法,随着科技的不断进步,越来越多的新技术被运用到教学中,如音频(audio)、视频(video)、电子书(electronic book)等,相比于传统的教学方式,这些电子化的新教学方法结合了声音、图像,让学生对知识的认识更生动具体,但同时,使用音像很容易使学生分心,所以最好的方式是将二者结合在一起来教学。
2.关于老师的作用:由于互联网的普及和发展,学生有时不需要通过老师,就可以获得他所需要的知识和信息,但需要注意的是,并不是每一个学生都具备整理(organize)、分析(analyze)、总结(summarize)信息的能力,而老师是成功从大量的信息中筛选并总结出有效知识框架(knowledge frame)和训练方法的人,因此可以引导学生建立这种思维。
3.关于学生是否应该评价教师:让学生来评价老师的好处在于,将课堂的主动(initiative)交给了学生,学生可以决定自己想以怎样的方式学习,激发了他们的学习积极性(enthusiasm),但缺点在于,学生往往因为惰性,不喜欢那些严格、标准高的老师,导致他们最后无法掌握足够的知识,一事无成。
