1. Synthesis Reaction 化合反应

   
   

　　Two or more reactants combine to form a new product.

　　两种或两种以上的物质生成一种新物质的反应。

　　The two reactant molecules break existing bonds and form new bonds.

　　这两个反应分子打破现有的键并形成新的键。

1. Decomposition Reaction 分解反应

   
   

　　A single compound breaks down into two or more simpler products.

　　由一种物质生成两种或两种以上其它的物质的反应。

　　Decomposition reaction is the opposite of a synthesis reaction.

　　分解反应是化合反应的逆过程。

1. Single Displacement Reaction 置换反应

　　In a single displacement reaction, a single element replaces (or displaces) another element in a compound.

　　一种单质与化合物反应生成另外一种单质和另一种化合物的反应。

　　replace cation 置换阳离子

　　Replace anion 置换阴离子

　　Double Displacement Reaction 复分解反应

　　Exchange of positive ions between two compounds

　　交换两种化合物的阳离子。

　　Often result in the formation of a solid precipitate, gas or water
